I must get across my gratitude for your kind-heartedness for individuals that should have guidance on this important subject matter as this whole thing has been/was a sensitive subject in the community of Houston and on the TSU campus. Your real commitment to passing the solution all around appears to have been exceedingly helpful in diffusing the “heat.” With the current budget restraints, there are still some unresolved financing matters in preserving the murals and in addressing the ones that were painted out. Of course you realize the underlying current is not about the murals but about the “Master of the Universe” attitudes in admin. But it appears that with your help there will be action. Thanks a ton; from each one of us.

I was at Fair Park for the Christmas light show and took some time to walk around. Even in the low light, the murals you worked on look so cool in the historic buildings. It was a very romantic evening with my girlfriend and it wasn’t more of the same ol’ date stuff. I was a hero for doing something cultural. Thanks for preserving this wonderful part of history.

Really nice layout and fantastic subject matter with the murals and their restoration. Cool stuff I never knew anything about. We go to Fair Park a couple of times a year for events and love to walk by the fountains and kind of feel the history. Your work on the murals is really appreciated.

Appreciated the share! I was surprised to find something about Black Art on this website, which I love. But I guess when it comes to cleaning or saving and preserving artwork, its all the same. Art doesn’t have a race.

I was at the fair this year and went to look at the cars in the Centennial Building. But my wife and I got more interested in the murals and the whole atmosphere of the mall in front with the fountain. What a cool place. The artwork is really great and such an important part of our history. We love having a place like this in our city. Thanks for your efforts and skills.
